GROUP HOMES

Group Homes provide care for individuals with Developmental/Intellectual Disabilities in a community setting. We are licensed by the State of Virginia and are in compliance with the Medicaid Standards and the Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Services (DBHDS). Our beautiful Single-family homes provide supports and services to individuals with

Developmental/Intellectual Disabilities (DD and ID).

Group homes are limited to a maximum of 4 individuals and staffed 24 hours a day by trained professionals. Training includes Human Rights, Behavior Management, Medication Management, First Aid & CPR. Each home has its own minivan to transport residents to community events, activities, and health care appointments.

Group homes establish routines, healthy habits, and reintegration into society for some people. There can also be a medical component for those that need it. An on-hands Direct Care Professional is available around the clock to provide medication administration and assist with activities of daily living.
